Vanessa has spent the last 17 years as a new business specialist, working in large and small agencies, across traditional disciplines and more recently in content and digital marketing. She is commercially focused and creates new business strategies that engage, educate and ultimately win over prospective new clients and partners. She is a proven door opener across a number of sectors including B2B, finance, FMCG, automotive, government and retail.

After graduating Vanessa has worked from the sales floor through to the senior management team that led the growth and transformation of Billington Cartmell from a promotions agency into an integrated marketing communications group across advertising, digital, social, CRM, experiential and shopper marketing.

Her specialties: New Business Development (prospecting, pitching, marketing; developing senior level new business contacts). Working with senior clients across sectors (FMCG, Retail, Finance, Automotive) to develop future marcoms strategy below the line. She also develops fund raising strategies for charities. 

She is tenacious in and out of work and her energy and drive is showcased in her sporting achievements; GB Triathlete at multiple international games.
